Port Elizabeth murder case
February 23, 2012 | BY
A Port Elizabeth man has told the Port Elizabeth High Court of his distress after being a prime suspect in the murder of his wife. The Herald reports that Garth van Niekerk appeared in court yesterday (20 February 2012) alongside two alleged murder suspects Thembinkosi Kweta and Sibulele Mazantsi. Van Niekerk told the court he was trying to revive his wife at their Kragga Kamma property on the evening of the 1st of April 2009 when police accused him of being involved in the crime.
To add to the frustration, in the newspaper he blames the police for not doing their job properly as he was able find the murder weapon in his property. The trial continues.
